III Republican Scientific Conference "Adaptation of Living Organisms to Changing Environmental Conditions"

On September 26, 2024, the III Republican Scientific Conference "Adaptation of Living Organisms to Changing Environmental Conditions" was held, which was attended by more than 60 scientists from 20 different scientific institutions of our republic and 2 institutions of the Russian state. Based on the results of this conference, its proceedings were published, which collected more than 52 scientific materials in various areas.

III Republican Scientific Conference "Adaptation of Living Organisms to Changing Environmental Conditions" Dushanbe, September 26, 2024

The conference participants considered issues related to the state and prospects for the difficulties of adaptation of living organisms to changing environmental conditions and the influence of various environmental factors, and noted that the study and understanding of the mechanism of adaptation of living systems made it possible to develop solutions to this problem, as well as practical recommendations for expanding the study of the adaptation of various organisms and reducing the threat of negative impact of stress on the environment and agroecological systems, the main source of which is human activity. During the conference, it was noted that scientists of the Republic of Tajikistan pay special attention to the issues of adaptation of living organisms to changing environmental conditions, since the territory of the republic has a mountain climate and various environmental conditions.

During the conference, 7 plenary reports and 52 reports were heard at meetings of 3 sections of scientists from the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan, the Academy of Agricultural Sciences of Tajikistan, higher educational institutions of the republic and the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan. The presented reports were reviewed at a high methodological level. In total, scientists from 18 domestic scientific institutions and 2 scientific institutions of the Russian Federation took part in the conference.

Participants noted the high scientific and organizational level of the conference, the contribution of scientists to the development of research in the direction of studying changing climate features as an influential factor in the mechanisms of adaptation of living systems, studying agricultural and medicinal plants and their resources. It was noted that the scientific materials were published before the conference. The conference participants made the following proposals:

• • Coordinate scientific research in the direction of studying the adaptation of living organisms to changing environmental conditions through the exchange of information, joint research, exchange of specialists and the development of bilateral and multilateral contractual relations;
• • Promote the integration of scientific institutions and universities to conduct comprehensive joint research on projects and programs aimed at analyzing the definition of the relationship between the causes of situations related to climate change;
• • Timely coverage on television and radio not only of information on the achievements of scientists in the direction of studying the adaptation of agricultural and medicinal plants and their resources, but also a review of the encouragement and practice of ethics of reasonable and caring life in relation to the nature of our country;
• • Increase and strengthen the holding of conferences and expert round tables;
• • Propose to the Department of Biological Sciences of the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan to publish the resolution of the III scientific-republican conference "Adaptation of living organisms to changing environmental conditions" in the next issue of the journal "News of the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan" (Department of Biological Sciences).
